About us

We do things differently by bringing you style and quality while at the same time reducing our environmental footprint by recycling and re-using leather.

Leather has been a part of our lives for a very long time and history shows us that in the early forms of human life, our ancestors used leather for apparel and other accessories. To date, the industry still persists and with the need for faster processing methods, the industry now has a high environmental footprint. Like the rest of the apparel industry, the leather industry is one of the most polluting in the world.

Our journey as a business starts with our suppliers and we are partnering with suppliers who process leather in a manner that reduces our environmental footprint. We then design stylish products that represent something that we would want to wear/carry. As a customer, you can be part of the design process by selecting colour combinations for your product from our available colours and designs. Just let us know and we can customise for you.

Once you have received your product, be sure to take pictures while you are using your product and share on Instagram/any social media platform and tag us.

When you are no longer using the product and want to dispose of it, contact us and ship it back to us. Depending on the state of the product, we can re-use the leather to design another type of leather good. As a previous owner, if you are interested in the product from the re-used leather, let us know and we can present you with design options for a new product which you can select from and buy at a discounted price. If you no longer want the product, we can buy it back from you. If you would like us to just repair the product whether you bought it from us or not, get in touch and we can see how to help you.

We are keeping track of our products to enable us to implement a circular economy so if you re-gift the product you bought from us, please pass on the zero waste model we are implementing.

About the company owner

I am Zvikomborero Tangawamira (clearly this is were the brand name comes from) and I am passionate about Africa and its prospects. I worked for a long time as an environmental consultant and have always believed that it takes a deliberate effort from us all to save our planet and for us to leave it in a better state than we found it. This is why our business model has a circular economy at its core.

I work in partnership with people who are great designers and have worked with leather for a long time. Together we form a team that strives to give you a great product with a lower environmental footprint.

I have worked in the international development sector for a while and realised that our efforts to help others, no matter how small they seem to us, may go a long way. This is why with this business, we will support the leather value chain in order to improve the livelihoods of small scale livestock farmers in our region. We are open and transparent about this and our other principles and if you have any questions – please reach out to us.

I am sure that we all want to look good and therefore, style, quality and durability are our top priorities with each product and this is what we are bringing to you with this brand.
